1956 Porsche 356A T-1 Speedster

Here is a great new offering of a very special 356. In addition to being a multiple Concours award winner including the Amelia Island Concours, this gorgeous red with tan leather Speedster is also a purpose-built and proven touring car veteran. This Speedster has successfully competed in two California Mille, two Jack McCall Ozark Rallies and attended the 356 Registry Holiday's in Steamboat Springs and Ashville.

The Seller states that this car was an East Coast Hillclimb car early in its life. It was restored in 1994 to the condition you see it in now, and has been driven 25,000 very enjoyable miles since then. This car has no rust problems, and it still retains all of its original panels, including original floor pan, longitudinals and battery box.

This beauty is a very well-prepared vehicle that is fitted with a Z bar on the rear suspension, a Weltmeister anti-sway bar in the front with Koni shocks all around. The engine was custom built on a 912 core by Cox Motorsports to a very dependable 115 horsepower and the steering box has been upgraded to a later ZF unit. This package of components turns an already-fun Speedster into a serious competitor should the need arise. This car drives great, with a very tight, original feel.

Sale includes one full and one half tonneau, jack, owners manual with supplement, some original tools and one spare engine case #63771.

This Speedster is a ready-to-go, no excuses touring car that will bring home a Concours trophy too! You know this is just the Speedster you have been looking for.
